Two-faced Nitpicker

I'm here just to scope this place out as an alternative to goodreads and as a little bookbank in case I ever bank out of goodreads. (And did I also mention goodreads?)

About me: I'm a pretty lazy reviewer but big on reading so don't expect much reviewing but when reviews come, do beware of endless rambling about everything, including things unimportant like digressing on other unrelated books.

"Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you"

Untamed City: Carnival of Secrets - Melissa Marr I'd expected more from Marr but the story just fell flat with the rather inept heroine that I never seemed to connect with and the lack of direction the story had.
But how could you! Treachery! I do like the world of Witches, Daimons and the carnival, I truly do!-
Melissa Marr is a brilliant world-weaver, but the narrative and the plot was rather dull and alas, to my everlasting grief, it was not for the likes of me.
