Two-faced Nitpicker

I'm here just to scope this place out as an alternative to goodreads and as a little bookbank in case I ever bank out of goodreads. (And did I also mention goodreads?)

About me: I'm a pretty lazy reviewer but big on reading so don't expect much reviewing but when reviews come, do beware of endless rambling about everything, including things unimportant like digressing on other unrelated books.

"Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you"

dancergirl - Carol M. Tanzman Alicia is not a girl I'd enjoy being friends with. Coupled with the really awkward scene of her trying to be "natural" while being filmed, her mechanical reactions, and her strangely 2D posse of friends, I did not enjoy the experience tremendously.
The premise, however, is great, but it seems more like a teenage daydream of fame and danger and being the special snowflake.
It didn't quite work for me, but in comparison with novels I have rated 2 stars, it was more of an alright, light fluffy read rather than slightly unpleasant and smelling vaguely of rotten cheese.
SO A THREE IT IS.
or a 2.5.
eh.
